The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Department of the Treasury administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions based on US foreign policy and national security goals against targeted foreign countries and regimes, terrorists, international narcotics traffickers, those engaged in activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and other threats to the national security, foreign policy or economy of the United States.

As a U.S. company, Wremia complies with all sanctions programs administered by OFAC. We are legally obliged to screen and apply for OFAC sanctions properly. As declared in Terms of Service (under Export Law Assurances section) you represent and warrant that you are not a Sanctioned Person. If you are, or Wremia has reasonable grounds to believe you are, a Sanctioned Person, Wremia has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service (or any portion thereof). We have right to track, keep and block the IP addresses, e-mail addresses and phone numbers either for individuals or entities to ensure the compatibility with the above legal restrictions.

Currently IP addresses from following countries are entirely blocked in line with above sanctions: Ukraine, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria.

We are screening the individual and entity names and addresses via API provided by International Trade Administration of US Department of Commerce (external link: https://www.trade.gov/). If an account is flagged as a possible sanction concern we will reach out to the platform via email to request additional information. During this period Wremia has right to suspend related accounts or entire entity.

Sanctions screening cannot be requested to be stopped in any manner and disregarding or violating sanctions can lead to fines, regulatory action, and loss of licensing for both Wremia and our users.
